The Best Holiday Lights Are the Ones You Never Touch
Every December, Arlington glows — and every December, somebody ends up on a cold roof wrestling with tangled strands. Our holiday lighting service takes the whole job off your hands: we design the display, install it, maintain it through the season (a strand goes out, we fix it), take it all down in January, and store it for next year.
What We Install
Roofline lighting. Clean, even C9 bulbs along the roofline — the classic Christmas look, done with commercial-grade strands that actually stay straight.
Trees and shrubs. Wraps and drapes on your front-yard trees and shrubs. This is where a professional display separates from a DIY one — even, full coverage with no dark gaps.
Wreaths and garland. Lit wreaths on the door and garland on railings and columns, wired in so there are no extension cords snaking around.
Pathway markers. Lit stakes along the walk for a welcoming approach — especially nice for holiday parties.
Timers. Everything runs on timers: on at dusk, off at bedtime. You never touch a switch.
Commercial-Grade, Not Store-Bought
We use commercial-grade LED holiday lights — brighter, more uniform, and far more durable than retail strands. The LEDs use very little power, stay cool, and the colors stay true all season. Cuts and custom lengths mean no sagging extension cords or bunched-up leftovers. It looks like a magazine, not a storage-unit cleanout.
Full Service Means Full Service
Design. We propose a display for your home — roofline, trees, entry — and you approve it.
Install. Our crew hangs everything, usually in a day. No nails in your shingles, no damage to gutters — we use proper clips.
Season maintenance. Bulb out? Strand down after a windstorm? Call us and we fix it. That is included.
Takedown and storage. In January we take it all down, pack it carefully, and store it. Next November, it goes back up — same design or a fresh one, your call.
Book Early
Holiday lighting runs on a calendar — installs happen from late October through early December, and the schedule fills fast. If you want holiday lights this year, reach out in the fall. Returning clients get first pick of install dates.

Designing a Display That Suits Your Home
A great holiday display starts with the architecture, not the catalog. A colonial with a symmetrical facade wants balanced roofline lighting and matching tree wraps. A rambler with a long low roofline wants an elegant continuous line, not clutter. A home with a standout front tree should make that tree the centerpiece — a fully lit specimen tree outshines a dozen scattered decorations.
During the design visit we look at your home the way a guest arriving for a holiday party would: the approach from the street, the walk to the door, the entry itself. The display is composed for those views. Restraint beats excess every time — a clean, well-executed design turns more heads than a yard full of inflatables.
Why Commercial-Grade Makes All the Difference
There are two kinds of holiday lights: the retail strands most people know, and commercial-grade LEDs. The difference is visible from the street. Commercial strands have consistent color from bulb to bulb — retail strands vary. Commercial wire is thicker and the bulbs seat tighter, so sections do not go dark mid-season. The LEDs are brighter per watt and hold their color for years instead of fading by February.
Custom cutting is the other half. Retail strands come in fixed lengths, which is why DIY displays have sagging extension cords and bunched-up leftovers. We cut every run to the exact length your roofline and trees need. The result looks tailored — because it is. And because we own and maintain the lights, a failed section is our problem to fix, not yours to troubleshoot on a ladder in December.
The Season Timeline
Holiday lighting runs on a calendar, and timing matters. Design visits happen in September and October — early enough to plan something great, not rushed. Installations run from late October through early December, scheduled in booking order. Returning clients get first pick of dates, which is why the November calendar fills fast.
The lights go live when you want them — most clients choose the week of Thanksgiving, some earlier. Throughout the season we are on call: a strand goes dark, wind knocks a section loose, a timer needs adjusting — one call and we handle it. Takedown starts the first week of January. We remove everything, pack it carefully, and store it in our facility. When next fall arrives, your display goes back up — same beloved design, or a fresh one if you want a change.
How It Works: Our Process
Step 1 — Design visit. We walk your property in the fall, study the architecture, and propose a display — roofline, trees, entry, and accents — with clear pricing.
Step 2 — Installation. Our crew installs everything in a day or two: custom-cut commercial strands, proper clips (no shingle damage), timers programmed.
Step 3 — Season support. All-season maintenance is included. Outages, storm damage, adjustments — one call and we fix it.
Step 4 — Takedown and storage. January removal, careful packing, and off-site storage. Next season, it goes back up — same or refreshed.
